What is Hate Crime?

Have you or someone you know experienced hostile behaviour due to; race, religion, faith or belief, sexual orientation, disability or transgender identity?

A hate crime is motivated by malice or prejudice towards someone on the basis of one or more of these characteristics.

It can include threats made towards you, family or friends; hurtful remarks and bullying; or being pushed, hit or assaulted.

REPORT IT!

What is Third Party Reporting?

Third party reporting is about helping you to report a crime or incident, which is important so that the level of Hate Crime can be recognised and action taken.

Your report will be handled sensitively and you will be offered support from staff at YCSA.
