BBC Children in Need Youth Social Action

Youth Social Action has taken the approach which assists young people to identify a subject which they wish to explore and then decide regarding how they would wish to raise the profile of their subject. 

Ycsa has been working with young people from 2 Secondary Schools who identified Racism as the Social Issue which they wished to explore and then developed a plan to tackle this within their school and community. The young people created a presentation on the subject and were able to confidently talk about their project. 

The young people have identified a number of projects which they will work on over the next couple of months to raise the issues of Racism within different institutions. 

Ycsa will continue to identify other schools who wish to tackle Racism within their particular school and offer their expertise in this area.
